简介(brief introduction)
[a]在化石层中，最普遍的是古似鸟龙。它是一种小型的食肉类恐龙，这个族群遗留下相当多的化石，有时候保存了极为精致的牙齿与肢骨。最初，曾经被描述监定成似鸟龙属下的一个新种。经过研究，现在已经认定为亚洲似鸟龙科中最原始古老的一个代表成员。
古似鸟龙是恐龙家族中的一种十分奇特的成员。它是一种身高像大鸵鸟一样，双足行走的虚骨龙类恐龙，体长约2.5米，有着轻巧、苗条的体形和与鸟相象的外貌。它的头很小，眼大，上下颌没有牙齿（可能有角质喙），脖子细，尾巴长，有细长、顶端有爪的前肢和强有力的三趾式脚。古似鸟龙善于奔跑，主要捕食昆虫和其他一些小动物，也吃果子。亚洲古似鸟龙及其亲属在7500万年前的白垩纪晚期广泛地分布在北美和中亚等地区。 |
