shīrén: lǎo Lao-Tzu

   lìng rén máng
   yīn lìng rén 'ěr lóng
   wèi lìng rén kǒu shuǎng
   chí pìn tián lièlìng rén xīn kuáng
   nán zhī huò lìng rén xíng fáng
  
   shì shèng rén wéi bùwèi
  


  Colour's five hues from th' eyes their sight will take;
  Music's five notes the ears as deaf can make;
  The flavours five deprive the mouth of taste;
  The chariot course, and the wild hunting waste Make mad the mind;
  and objects rare and strange, Sought for, men's conduct will to evil change.
  
  Therefore the sage seeks to satisfy (the craving of) the belly, and not the (insatiable longing of the) eyes.
  He puts from him the latter, and prefers to seek the former.
shí fēn zhī 'èr Two tenths
  shí fēn zhī 'èr。《 shǐ · gāo běn 》: fāng 'èr qiān chí bǎi wànxiàn qiān zhī wài shí 'èr yān péi yīn jiě yǐn lín yuē:“ shí 'èr shí zhōng zhī 'èr。”
zhǐ shuìlǜ huò lìlǜ shí fēn zhī 'èr Tezhi rates or interest rates two tenths
   zhǐ shuìlǜ huò lìlǜ shí fēn zhī 'èr。《 zhōu · guān · zài shī》:“ fán rèn diàn shāo xiàn jiē guò shí 'èr 。” jiǎ gōng yàn shū:“ jiē guò shí 'èr zhě…… jiē guò shí 'ér shuì 'èr。”《 hàn shū · gòng chuán》:“ shāng jiǎ qiú dōng nán běi yòng zhì qiǎohǎo měi shísuì yòu shí 'èr zhī ér chū shuì。” yán shī zhù:“ ruò yòu wàn qián wéi jiǎ huò 'èr qiān zhī 。”
