《永遠的朋友》是1992年巴塞羅那奧運會的主題歌。 amigos para siempre在西班牙語中是“一生的朋友”之意。
參與製作這首巴塞羅奧運會那奧運會主題歌的幾個人都是大牌。莎拉•布萊曼，號稱“月光女神”，這位來自英國的歌手橫跨世界流行音樂和古典音樂兩大領域，而且都有非常高的地位。與莎拉•布萊曼合作演唱的是西班牙的卡雷拉斯，他與帕瓦羅蒂和多明戈一起並稱為世界三大男高音。
歌麯的作麯人安德魯·羅伊德·韋伯是世界上最負盛名的音樂劇歌麯創作者，他創作的音樂劇《貓》、《艾薇塔》、《歌劇魅影》都是音樂劇裏的不朽經典。這首《永遠的朋友》則是巴塞羅那奧組委專門邀請韋伯創作的。而莎拉 ·布萊曼則是他的歌麯的最好的演唱者之一，她既是多部韋伯音樂劇的女主角，也是跨界音樂的最受矚目的女歌手。他倆的合作用天籟之音為巴塞羅那奧運會劃上了完美的句號。

選自岩井《俊二監督作品 原聲大碟精選》，整張專輯共有23首麯子，排在首位的這首英文歌《Forever Friends》全長6'08"，是專輯中最長的一首。此麯來自93年的日劇《煙花》，一支木吉他作伴奏，音色卻清純飽滿，動人的女生吐字清晰，“Hold me like friend，Kiss me like a friend……”，雖然未曾一睹此劇，卻能使人深深陶醉於歌麯帶出的美好意境之中，正是典型的Remedios風格。
