作为国内一个学术文献免费资源库，论坛存在和发展的根源在于科学专业知识的网络交流与传播。它目前收集了超星、维普、万方、cnki、ez、proquest 等各大学术论文数据库的免费账号以及国内外很多高校图书馆的入口和代理。
