[a]新发现的中国食草类卡戎龙(charonosaurus)是赖氏龙中的一种。它看起来非常像其北美的表亲副栉龙，但几乎是其的1.5倍。它从嘴巴到尾端有13米长，全身褐色，至少有7吨重。它经常用四脚走路，但也可以用起更长的，更有力的后腿跑。
卡戎龙的头顶的冠是一根长长的，中空的管子状骨头。这骨头形成一间气房。冥府渡神龙可以震动其中的空气，听起来就像低音的长号。这种声音可以有几种用途：让其他恐龙知道它的位置；发现危险及时通知同伴；或者吸引异性。 |
