　　夏至后的第三个庚日,是三伏中头伏的第一天

　　通常也指从夏至后的第三个庚日起至第四个庚日前一天的一段时间。也叫“头伏”

　　即头伏。夏至后的第三个庚日，或指从夏至后第三个庚日到第四个庚日之间的十天时间。《史记·秦本纪》：“二年，初伏，以狗御蛊。” 裴駰 集解引 孟康 曰：“六月伏日初也。 周 时无，至此乃有之。” 晋 潘岳 《在怀县作》诗之一：“初伏啟新节，隆暑方赫羲。” 唐 萧颖士 《游马耳山》诗：“我来疑初伏，幽路无炎精。”参见“ 三伏 ”。

　　初伏，按中国的日历法来说，这是真正暑天的开始。初伏固定为10天, 初伏从夏至日后第三个庚日始（称入伏）。
　　天津的老规矩是：初伏饺子、中伏面，末伏烙饼炒鸡蛋。
　　07年的初伏是 7月15日 （农历六月初二，庚戌日）。
