International Military Sports Council (international military sports council, cism) is the armed forces of countries in the world of international sports organizations, February 18, 1948 in France, founded by Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. 1990, "members of the Warsaw Pact military sports organization" (skda) was dissolved and its members joined the Council. The current 117 Member States.
The Council's aim is to develop through sport Member States and friendly relations between the militaries and promote sports development, to contribute to world peace. The organization's motto is "to strengthen friendship through sports."

The Council's highest authority for the Congress, the General Assembly authority for the Executive Committee intersessional, 1 by the President, Vice-4 (from Africa, Asia, Europe, the United States each continent), composed of 10 members . The Council has the following standing academic research institutes and special committees: Sports Committee, Solidarity Committee, the Finance Committee, Information and Public Relations Committee partners with the marketing committee, constitution, rules and the Disciplinary Committee, Sports Medicine Committee. Current President of the Italian Gola (gianni gola) Colonel.
International Military Sports Council's main event is the 25 items of world military sports tournaments, 1995 and 1999 were held the 1st and 2nd. In 1978, China's military sports organization to send observers in Syria at the 32nd Congress in 1979 formally joined the organization. Participated in two military sports tournaments and achieved outstanding results.
