  五色糯米饭是壮族地区的传统风味小吃。因糯米饭呈黑、红、黄、白、紫5种色彩而得名,又称“乌饭”。每年农历三月初三或清明节时节,广西各族人民普遍制作五色糯米饭。
  五色糯米饭主要制作方法是:将浸泡后的糯米分成4份,其中3份分别倒入由可食植物枫叶、红蓝草、黄花等提取的黑、红、黄等染料液汁中浸泡,着色后,放入蒸笼中蒸出黑、红、黄、白、紫等五色饭,出笼后混合拌匀,盛入碗碟中,淋上糖、油即可食。
  其特色是色泽鲜艳、五彩摈纷,晶莹闪亮,滋润柔软,美味可口。五色糯米饭既是小吃,有可防病、治病,深受广西各族人民的喜爱。
