　　上颚（mandibles，单数mandible）是一对位于上唇之后的锥状坚硬构造，其前端有切齿叶（incisor lobe）以切断和撕裂食物，后部有臼齿叶（molar lobe）以磨碎食物。上颚具有强大的收肌与较小的展肌，两束肌肉的收缩使上颚能左右活动，两个上颚一般不完全对称。
