　　万壑松风在避暑山庄松鹤斋之北。建于清康熙四十七年（1708年），是宫殿区最早的一组建筑。由万壑松风殿、鉴始斋、静佳室、颐和书房、蓬阆咸映等建筑组成，踞岗背湖，布局灵活，具有南方园林特点。
　　
　　周围古松甚多，故有此题名。这组建筑是康熙帝批阅奏章、召见百官和眺望湖光山色之地，为“康熙三十六景”第六景。万壑松风为正殿，风景极佳。乾隆帝髻龄常在此聆听祖训，即位后改名纪恩堂，并作《御制避暑山庄纪恩堂记》一文纪念乃祖。殿后为鉴始斋，系乾隆幼年在山庄读书之所。
