江苏省连云港市云台区板桥镇
　　板桥镇位于中国连云港亚欧大陆桥东桥头堡南侧五公里外，西距连云港经济技术开发区两公里，与日本、韩国隔海相望，总面积106平方公里，水陆交通便捷，邮电通讯发达。境内含四个部队盐场，农场以及国内知名八大盐场之一的台南盐场。
　　板桥镇依山傍海，自然资源丰富。辖区内海岸线全长达15公里，海岸带80%为泥质，20%为沙质，滩涂总面积5.14万亩，其中潮上带1.4万亩，潮间带4万亩，另有浅海10米等深线6万亩。水生物资源丰富，为近海鱼、虾、贝类和紫菜等藻类生长提供了丰富的营养和必备的条件。
　　为了充分合理有效地开发该镇固有的滩涂及浅海资源，带动该镇海洋产业的迅速发展，于1993年成立了以紫菜育苗、养殖、加工为一体的板桥紫菜集团公司。本公司内有二家中外合资企业，一家联营企业，八家集体企业。公司内有紫菜流水作业加工机13台套，年加工能力达1.7亿张。现在紫菜养殖面积达万亩，淡水养殖面积达万亩，育苗水体近二万立方米，细蟹养殖大棚280栋，养殖面积达4000亩。
