　　朝阳门街道（Chaoyangmen Jiedao）位于东城区东南部。面积1.24平方千米，常住人口4.01万人（2006年末）。辖9个社区。办事处驻大方家胡同38号。有东四南大街、朝阳门内大街两条重点商业街。有孚王府等3处古迹。
　　
　　［沿革］1958年由前炒面街道、竹杆巷街道、大方家街道并置为朝阳门街道，1960年改公社，1990年复置。1997年，面积1.4平方千米，人口4.8万，辖东四南大街、朝内大街西部、炒面、拐棒、礼士、灯草、演乐、本司、内务、史家、南小街、武学、大方家、小方家、小牌坊、南水关、新鲜、芳嘉园、南竹杆、竹杆、北竹杆、朝内大街南部、朝内大街北部、文化部、科学情报所、国家语委、人艺、外交部等30个居（家）委会。
