Winter in San Francisco, Dec. 13, 2008.
Its attic opens its window
Replies only a falling leaf
Skies leaving on a jet plane
Sun sets west fires, turns clouds into
Simmering coal
The lamp in my room is
Then getting brighter

屋子開了窗口
唯落葉回答
天空以噴射機離去──
西夕的紅火,把雲燒成了
碳
屋子裡的燈
漸漸亮了

Is it winter? Nah, it sounds autumn in our place.
Beautifully written.

A friend sent this to me today. I think this is more appropriate. Stay warm!
WINTER Poem
It's winter in Minnesota
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At thirty-five below.
Oh, how I love Minnesota
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Minnesota
I'm frozen to the ground!

“I could never leave Minnesota
I'm frozen to the ground! ”
Sarcastically subtle in a tender heart, like it.
However,
I went to LA last weekend, I was snowed by
the T-shirt overflow by the street banks. |
