first impression
came like a wind
at the tail of the summer heat
i have set aside a space
for your coming, and quietly
counting mailman's steps
through the Autumn Window
as i opened the flap

這是收到非馬詩集"你是那風"時的第一印象.
我常在想海外華人詩人的定位問題,
非馬在這方面的詩齡, 自留學生開始算,
該是我所知的最長的了.
海外的華人詩人有一段過渡時期會寫舊經驗,
然後開始寫自己周遭的生活事物(包括雙語詩).
非馬的詩經驗, 無疑是美國的華人特殊經歷,
對海外華人的意義可能大於其他詩人.
今晚翻到"在芝加哥看雲門舞集"一詩. 
(我想海外的華人要有獨立自主的風格寫作,
不必與大陸台灣同, 這個華語經驗應該會慢慢
另外生根發展.)
