听一个故事，杀一个妻

这样的天方夜谭
幼小的我
竟深信不疑
人，总有长大的时候
诵一段经，杀一批异教徒

I read it a couple of times. I like the comparison of the two stanzas, but the punch lines lie in the contrast of
幼小的我
竟深信不疑
and
现在的我
才深信不疑
It requires some mental work.

谢谢LAKE. 看出了"竟"与"才"这个诗眼. 这首诗最近被一个懂中文的美国教授翻译成英文,在最近一期的《当代台湾文学英译》上刊出，我就是因为不太满意他对这两句的翻译，才自己动手把它译了出来。
