The shock
comes from the side
glasses shattered and
scattered into glittering beads
the impact makes
sweat bullets
roll down my cheek
the side not on the phone

What happened? A car crash?
I didn't get the last line "the side not on the phone".
Maybe that's the clue.
Cheers,

a car accident on Oct 28, my car was totaled.
my son was driving alone, and he called me from within the car a few minutes after the accident,
he was hit by a truck from the side while changing lanes.
my cheek not on the phone sweats, sweating beads.
wrote this that afternoon.
VERY lucky he is OK, tell your kids, always wear seat belts, those make a great difference. |

Now I see you were on the phone. But found it interesting that there was sweat only on one side of the face.
It happened to us several years ago, my daughter was driving during the rush hour and was involved in a four-car pile-up. Luckily, no one was injured except there was a small cut on her face caused by the airbag. No doubt, the car was totaled. |

you are right, the sweat could be on bothn sides, but rolled down on one side,
for the other side was blocked by the cell phone, being attached to my cheek, un-noticed.
also, this is to reflet the first line, about the car. |
