五绝 船帆（汉译英）

破浪御风船，栖身浅水湾。
无缘临大海，空挂一桅帆。

An Empty Sail

A ship can drive winds,
and travel thousands of miles far away,
But she is blocked in a shallow bay.
Without opportunity on the sea,
An empty sail has no word to say.
