铺垫一下，简练升华。是很好的手法。
另，非马老师的工科出身跟我们这里很多人相似，两方面都是追犹不及的楷模。我也作研究，刚从vancouver到UW-madison (postdoc position, not faculty, haha), 跟老师也算校友吧？问好。

原来您还真是madison的。看到有人钓鱼，应该是允许的罢。下次试下，边等鱼边思考，也许会有很多灵感呢。这里夏天确实还可以，冬天可就冷了，又刮风。在温哥华住了七八年，冬天不冷，夏天不热，喜欢。另外，这里可是数一数二的party university, 您当年也许是"满楼红袖招"呢!

也感谢lake代表美国对我的欢迎。图很诱人。这里可到处都是lake. Laughing
