澄澈如天空的镜子

四周环绕着白云里

弯腰钓鱼的芦苇

波澜壮阔的麦地

是绵延起伏的丘陵

特意给南方裁剪的

黄金披风

刺绣大师

请您来

绣上几只鹳的鸣叫和

赤鹿雄伟的身影

我学不了

海雕和鹗

把瑞典王国的领地

搭建空中

只好像蚂蚁

在橡树和山毛榉

柔软的阔叶上

支起一顶简易帐篷

Three Lakes

Only the most exquisite

Soft light of inner beauty

Could manifest as

Lake Snogeholm, Lake Sövde, and Lake Ellestad.

They serve as

The three hearts of Southern Sweden,

Clear as mirrors reflecting the heavens;

Surrounded by reeds that stoop

To fish within the white clouds.

The magnificent fields of wheat

Are rolling hills—

A golden cloak

Tailored specifically for the South.

O Master of Embroidery,

Please, come and sew

The cries of a few storks

And the majestic silhouettes of red deer.

I cannot learn from

The sea eagle or the osprey,

To build the territories of the Swedish Kingdom

High in the empty air.

I can only, like an ant,

Upon the soft broadleaves

Of oak and beech,

Pitch a simple tent.
