洗净

黄金海岸的大日

请您用最炙热的阳光

把每一枚卵

孵化

这些石头排着队

回归阔别千年的海

与和煦的风

我站在波罗的海

逐步加粗的呼吸里，看

这些破壳而出的金子

就像看

恐龙

蹒跚着游回侏罗纪的森林

Unveiling the ice sheets of the Pleistocene,

Exposing

Vast fields of shingle and stone.

These once-buried stone eggs

Have finally returned to the light of day.

Beautiful Baltic Sea,

I pray you use your gentlest, deep-blue swells

To wash

Each and every egg clean.

Great Sun of the Gold Coast,

I pray you use your most searing rays

To hatch

Each and every egg.

These stones are lining up

To return to the sea and the balmy winds

From which they were parted for a thousand years.

I stand within the Baltic’s

Gradually thickening breath, watching

These gold nuggets breaking from their shells—

Like watching

Dinosaurs

Shuffling their way back to the forests of the Jurassic.
