中华诗词的第一咏物诗
南国的一支细瓷花瓶
被直接摆放到神龛:庙堂之上,封疆之木
它的小椭圆绿叶,白花,黄蕊,蜜橘
成为送神、敬神、娱神的祭品
梦想着立锥之地
向村庄之外扩展
黄泥冈,花岗岩乱石,睡莲池,针叶林,
攀附的青藤与苔藓,土著黑尾鹿与横斑林鸮,
一人一山的小仙境
我在钟鼎山的旷野徘徊着
围绕着一群闪亮的硬头钢鳟:哈根溪里的“钢铁战士”
它们赠我以野豌豆
我回礼以粽子
它们最喜欢这句
行比伯夷,置以为像兮。
隐隐有取代枫树,或者红皮神木的冲动
注解:
1、后皇嘉树,《橘颂》的首句,意指:皇天后土生育的美树。《橘颂》是战国时期楚国诗人屈原创作的一首诗歌,收录于《楚辞·九章》中。这是中国文学史上第一首咏物诗。屈原以橘树自比,通过赞美橘树扎根南土、不肯随易迁徙的特性,表达了自己对楚国故土的深厚感情和坚贞不渝的政治理想。屈原五月五日投汨罗而死,楚国百姓不忍屈大夫为鱼虾所食,于端午时节以糯米、肉馅等制成粽子,投入江中喂饱鱼群,以护卫屈原,感谢他为国家尽忠的一片赤诚。
2、“不食周粟”典出《史记·伯夷列传》,讲述商末孤竹君之子伯夷、叔齐以武王伐纣为耻,坚守节操,隐居首阳山采薇(野豌豆)而食,最终饿死也不吃周朝的粮食。该典故用来比喻清高守节、坚持气节,宁死不降,被儒家奉为“贤人”之典范。
3、我在加拿大维多利亚市的家,号“采薇居”,坐落于钟鼎山(John Dean Park)的东坡。钟鼎山,海拔306米,三面朝向太平洋,承载起我的诗歌世界,是首阳山,是百山祖,是祖国的每一座山峰的投影。
The Exquisite Tree of the Sovereign Earth
Ideals and character are instantiated
Into the form of a tree.
The premier "Ode to an Object" in Chinese poetry;
A fine porcelain vase from the Southern Realms,
Placed directly upon the altar: wood of the temple, timber of the frontiers.
Its small oval green leaves, white blossoms, yellow stamens, and honeyed oranges
Become offerings to escort, revere, and delight the gods.
Dreaming of a place to stand,
It expands beyond the villages—
To yellow mud ridges, granite scree, lily ponds, and coniferous forests;
To clinging vines and moss, native black-tailed deer and barred owls;
A miniature fairyland for one person and one mountain.
I wander through the wilderness of Zhongding Mountain,
Circled by a school of shimmering Steelhead—
The "Steel Warriors" of Hagan Creek.
They gift me wild peas;
I return the gesture with Zongzi.
They love this line best:
"Thy conduct rivals Boyi's own; let thee be a model for us all."
It feels a faint impulse
To supersede the Maple, or the crimson Arbutus—the Sovereign Wood.
