I am orbiting the Earth

Just as I orbit the sun every day

Only it feels as if the sun orbits me daily

Like an infant

In a cradle

The sun to my left

The moon to my right

Swaying is the tiny boat and

The half-dreaming, half-waking me

The announcement tells everyone to fasten seatbelts

The plane is passing through turbulence

My God, am I flying?

So many clouds

So many stars

All are orbiting me

All are in flight
