我的身体

一部分硬，一部分软

衔接部位

是时间

有时，软的部分转硬

你瞧我

几乎能从水的透镜中飞起

直到我像一只天鹅

凭空消失

留下一只被冻结的水晶鞋

在蓝天溜冰的

是月亮

有时，硬的部分变软

头顶的太阳

一滴滴将我融化

与Fjallsjökull 冰湖

浑然一体

太阳和月亮

终非人间凡物

很明显

我已经被冰湖里的一朵莲花

夺舍了

My body—

Partially hard, partially soft.

The joint where they meet

Is time.

Sometimes, the soft parts turn hard.

Watch me:

I can almost take flight from the water’s lens.

Until, like a swan,

I vanish into thin air.

Leaving behind a frozen glass slipper:

Skating across the blue sky

Is the moon.

Sometimes, the hard parts turn soft.

The sun overhead

Melts me, drop by drop,

Into an absolute oneness

With the Fjallsjökull lagoon.

The sun and the moon—

Neither, after all, belongs to this mortal realm.

It is clear now:

I have been possessed—

By a lotus blooming deep within the ice.
