My lord ,
Could you give me some strength?
Build for her green branches.
Mill fallen leaves into fertile soil
for tulips ,in April .

And nightingales should sing,
beside her window ,never away.
Forget the saddest, forget the swain.

His eyes empty without affection-wine ,
you made .
It’s delicate, people praised.
For romance is a folk tale.——
Ran into his lover’s bosom —— he did .

I'm weeping under the laurel.
Stars disappear ‘cause the sorrow.
Only the fragrance still telling how
pretty you once were .
Heard it I ponder over:
How can I stop you drinking poisoned love
to quench your thirst?
How can I give pleasure to you, my dearest ?

She hides in a dark corner,
Drinking the wine so bitter .
Has neither singing nightingales ,
Neither charming tulips ,
Neither luxuriant vines ,
Neither love ,nor life…

她躲在黑暗的角落里
饮着那杯苦涩的酒
没有歌唱的夜莺
没有娇艳的郁金香
没有郁郁葱葱的枝藤蔓叶
没有爱，也没有生……
