Night, a trustful ambassador,
Without credential or presents
Always pays frequent visits.

Night, a friendly guest,
Leaves without bidding farewell
And comes around without invitation.

Night, now I doubt your identity.
With whom do you scheme to play
the scherzo to deceive half the world?

To confess frankly,
Are you a conspirator of the light
Or a clever agent of the government?

If not, why the traffic lights shine simultaneously
Upon your insidious arrival
As if your guard of honor?

For fear of shouldering the responsibility
Or to avoid the aftermath caused in the day
All evils and troubles hurry off under your cover?

Or night,
A bowl of honey to draw all the ants
From damage of the innocent beebread of light?

Oh, you are welcome, night!
The sick and the weak are your loyal citizens.
The gangs and prostitutes are among your cabinet.

Your net is close yet your controls not so strict
The lamplight from a weary widower’s window
Has turned a traitor to your state.

The skeleton of a diligent scientist at a program
To feed more unworthy of this world life
Is shown by the magic of the hp screen.

The college students who cohabit beyond campus
Prove to be the happiest
Sex: the only pleasure in this mortal world.

Lying there half dead are millions of the unemployed
Not for being hot, the couples keep between them
A belt of loose demarcation.

Fee for gas, fee for house…
Money is no problem.
The problem is having no money.

Southern companies go bankrupt successively
The poor get in high spirits
While the rich crestfallen in worry.

On a rural kang a couple sigh without tears
Their son and daughter have received notification of the college
Nice! But the fee for the entrance how to manage?

Newspapers thrive and TV programs flourish.
The handsome anchorman attracts the housemaid.
Yet things barely show a prospect for the better.

Couples deep in love attempt the negotiation:
After the Olympic if the housing prices drop,
The only risk they can assume is to get divorced.

很遗憾,我只写英文诗,中文译文得慢慢考虑。谢谢建议。
