The Moon in China
By William Zhou
You get up from the Himalayas
Divagating in the Chinese sky
Touching and comforting Huanghe River and Yangtze River
You are drunk in Du kang’s feelings
Jump into Li Bai’s poems definitely
Not mind that body will bare wine fragrance
The plum blossoms in the north of mountain pass
The bamboo shadows in the south of Yangtze River
Are calligraphy fragrance brandished drunkenly by you
You say you are too void
I transplant a laurel tree to you
Let the earth be bathed in fragrance of the Divine Land
You say you are too lonely
I immigrate Chang’e and Wu Gang to you
Let the world look up at the visions of Chinamen’s
You say you will go abroad
I launch my new poem to you
Please use your mind as bright as snow to
Touch and comfort human’s infantility and dreams
