曲水柳烟绕古城，石蹊柏荫上闲亭。春来书院花满浦，心醉高阁赋两屏。铭记先贤创教育，胸忧天下掷宏声。碑廊竹韵兴未尽，墙外徐传上课钟。花洲书院为邓州八景之首，范仲淹在书院的春风堂前，写下了《岳阳楼记》。有览秀亭、范文正公祠等景。西墙外是由花洲书院发展起来的古校一高中。
