or may I say
two are getting divorced
each one gets one
it takes two to make the word
singular
I do ask
whence
some one is getting a divorce
makes sense in grammar and the world

"some one is getting a divorce tonight " immediately arouses readers' curiosity or nervousness--who? why? But after reading the poem, you will get an Aha! which differs from your expectation from the title, a pleasant surprise.
You do have keen observation in language which I very much admire.

makes sense in grammar and the world"
Well, grammatically correct and generally accepted by the world. 
Is "some one" intentionally spelled out like that?
A clever and thoughtful write.

this one was just composed that night for a friend of mine was
in deep thought in signing that paper; I extrapolated it a bit.
like some said: You get to see it here first, and only here in
北美枫.
