The Third Stop: Jesus Fell the First Time

Wr. by Yidian Tr. by William Zhou

This was the weight of suffering
This was the strength that a weak body was pressed into Hell
Blocks, stones, fists...
He bore everything
Heaven and earth flipped
His hands supporting the ground hard
In fact he supporting the sky
with his own force

You hear the block shouting
------ I won’t overpower him, those people
insisted on placing me on his shoulder
You hear the stone stating
------ I won’t overpower him, those people
insisted on putting me on his shoulder
You hear the fists justifying
------We stand in the killers’ side
only to protect ourselves

You hear Jesus’ bones
cracking
