kids are still sleeping
exhausted from the
late night shopping
and I in the garden
wandering and wondering
crows carefully squawk
up in the sky
the weatherman
a black hawk

Black Hawk - Sauk leader who in 1832 led Fox and Sauk warriors against the United States (1767-1838)
Crow - A Native American people formerly inhabiting an area of the northern Great Plains between the Platte and Yellowstone rivers, now located in southeast Montana. The Crow became nomadic buffalo hunters after migrating west from the Missouri River in North Dakota in the 18th century.
