劉功業，男，1956年3月生於山東，現居天津。一級作傢，中國作傢協會會員。原天津市作傢協會文學院駐會專業作傢，第四屆主席團成員，南開大學現當代詩歌創作與欣賞課程特聘教師。出版有詩集《星星海》《若夫詩選》《對海當歌》《錯位》，散文集《尋找湖泊》《天涼好個秋》《水寫的城市》、長篇紀實文學《激情唐古拉》等10餘種。作品入選多種選本選集。
