【Review】 与白居易同时的李肇在《唐国史补》里说：“京城贵游，尚牡丹三十余年矣。每春暮，车马若狂，以不耽玩为耻。执金召铺宫围外寺观，种以求利，一本有值数万者。”这首诗，通过对“京城贵游”买牡丹花的描写，揭露了社会矛盾的某些本质方面，表现了具有深刻社会意义的主题。诗人的高明之处，在于他从买花处所发现了一位别人视而不见的“田舍翁”，从而触发了他的灵感，完成了独创性的艺术构思。
全诗分两大段。“人人迷不悟”以上十四句，写京城贵游买花；以下六句，写田舍翁看买花。
一开头用“帝城”点地点，用“春欲暮”点时间。“春欲暮”之时，农村中青黄不接，农事又加倍繁忙，而皇帝及其臣僚所在的长安城中，却“喧喧车马度”，忙于“买花”。“喧喧”，属于听觉；“车马度”，属于视觉。以“喧喧”状“车马度”，其男颠女狂、笑语欢呼的情景与车马杂沓、填街咽巷的画面同时展现，真可谓声态并作。下面的“共道牡丹时，相随买花去”，是对“喧喧”的补充描写。借车中马上人同声相告的“喧喧”之声点题，用笔相当灵妙。
这四句写“买花去”的场面，为下面写以高价买花与精心移花作好了铺垫。接着便是这些驱车走马的富贵闲人为买花、移花而挥金如土。“灼灼百朵红，戋戋五束素”，一株开了百朵花的红牡丹，价值竟相当于二十五匹帛，其昂贵何等惊人！那么“上张幄幕庇，旁织笆篱护，水洒复泥封，移来色如故”，其珍惜无异珠宝，也就不言而喻了。
以上只作客观描绘，直到“人人迷不悟”，才表露了作者的倾向性；然而那“迷不悟”的确切含义是什么，仍有待于进一步点明。白居易的有些讽谕诗，往往在结尾抽象地讲道理、发议论。这首诗却避免了这种情况。当他目睹这些狂热的买花者挥金如土，发出“人人迷不悟”的感慨之时，忽然发现了一位从啼饥号寒的农村“偶来买花处”的“田舍翁”，看见他在“低头”，听见他在“长叹”。这种极其鲜明、强烈的对比，揭示了当时社会生活的本质。诗人不失时机地摄下了“低头独长叹”的特写镜头，并从“低头”的表情与“长叹”的声音中挖掘出全部潜台词：仅仅买一丛“灼灼百朵红”的深色花，就要挥霍掉十户中等人家的税粮！这一警句使读者恍然大“悟”：那位看买花的“田舍翁”，倒是买花钱的实际负担者！推而广之，这些“高贵”的买花者，衣食住行，不都来源于从劳动人民身上榨取的“赋税”！诗人借助“田舍翁”的一声“长叹”，尖锐地反映了剥削与被剥削的矛盾。敢用自己的诗歌创作谱写人民的心声，这是十分可贵的。

【朱绂、紫绶】古系印纽或佩玉的丝织绳带，官高用红、紫色。

【Review】 诗题“轻肥”，取自《论语·雍也》中的“乘肥马，衣轻裘”，用以概括豪奢生活。
开头四句，先写后点，突兀跌宕，绘神绘色。意气之骄，竟可满路，鞍马之光，竟可照尘，这不能不使人惊异。正因为惊异，才发出“何为者”（干什么的）的疑问，从而引出了“是内臣”的回答。内臣者，宦官也。宦官不过是皇帝的家奴，凭什么骄横神气一至于此？原来，宦官这种脚色居然朱绂、紫绶，掌握了政权和军权，怎能不骄？怎能不奢？“夸赴军中宴，走马去如云”两句，与“意气骄满路，鞍马光照尘”前呼后应，互相补充。“走马去如云”，就具体写出了骄与夸。这几句中的“满”、“照”、“皆”、“悉”、“如云”等字，形象鲜明地表现出赴军中宴的内臣不是一两个，而是一大帮。
“军中宴”的“军”是指保卫皇帝的神策军。此时，神策军由宦官管领。宦官们更是飞扬跋扈，为所欲为。前八句诗，通过宦官们“夸赴军中宴”的场面着重揭露其意气之骄，具有高度的典型概括意义。
紧接六句，通过内臣们军中宴的场面主要写他们的奢，但也写了骄。写奢的文字，与“鞍马光照尘”一脉相承，而用笔各异。写马，只写它油光水滑，其饲料之精，已意在言外。写内臣，则只写食山珍、饱海味，其脑满肠肥，大腹便便，已不言而喻。“食饱心自若，酒酣气益振”两句，又由奢写到骄。“气益振”遥应首句。赴宴之时，已然“意气骄满路”，如今食饱、酒酣，意气自然益发骄横，不可一世了！
以上十四句，淋漓尽致地描绘出内臣行乐图，已具有暴露意义。然而诗人的目光并未局限于此。他又“悄焉动容，视通万里”，笔锋骤然一转，当这些“大夫”“将军”酒醉肴饱之时，江南正在发生“人食人”的惨象，从而把诗的思想意义提到新的高度。同样遭遇旱灾，而一乐一悲，却判若天壤。
这首诗运用了对比的方法，把两种截然相反的社会现象并列在一起，诗人不作任何说明，不发一句议论，而让读者通过鲜明的对比，得出应有的结论。这比直接发议论更能使人接受诗人所要阐明的思想，因而更有说服力。末二句直赋其事，奇峰突起，使全诗顿起波澜，使读者动魄惊心，确是十分精采的一笔！

【Review】 这首诗，就是作者在《与元九书》中所说的使“握军要者切齿”的那一篇，大约写于元和四年（809）。
当时，诗人正在长安做左拾遗，为什么会宿紫山北村呢？开头两句，作了说明，原来他是因“晨游紫阁峰”而“暮宿山下村”的。紫阁，在长安西南百余里，是终南山的一个著名山峰。“旭日射之，烂然而紫，其峰上耸，若楼阁然。”诗人之所以要“晨游”，大概就是为了欣赏那“烂然而紫”的美景吧！早晨欣赏了紫阁的美景，悠闲自得往回走，直到日暮才到山下村投宿，碰上的又是“村老见余喜，为余开一尊”的美好场面，其心情不用说是很愉快的。但是，“举杯未及饮”，不愉快的事发生了。
开头四句，点明了抢劫事件发生的时间、地点和抢劫对象，表现了诗人与村老的亲密关系及其喜悦心情，为下面关于暴卒的描写起了有力的反衬作用，是颇具匠心的。
中间的十二句，先用“暴卒”、“草草”、“紫衣挟刀斧”等贬义词句刻画了抢劫者的形象；接着展现了两个场面：一是抢酒食；二是砍树。
写抢酒食的四句诗，表现出暴卒、我和主人的三种不同表现。“夺”和“掣”两个词，包含着一方不给，一方硬抢的丰富内容，不应随便读过。诗人用这两个词作“诗眼”，表现出“我”毕竟是个官，敢于和暴卒争，但还是败下阵来，这就不仅揭露了暴卒的暴，而且要人们想一想暴卒凭什么这样“暴”，为结尾的点睛之笔留下了伏线。
写两个抢劫场面，各有特点。抢酒食之时，主人退立敛手；砍树之时，却改变了态度，这是为什么？诗人为了揭示其心理根据，先用两句诗写树：一则指明那树长在中庭，二则称赞那是棵“奇树”，三则强调那树是主人亲手种的，已长了三十来年。这说明它在主人心中的地位，远非酒食所能比拟。暴卒要砍它，怎能不“惜”！“惜不得”，是“惜”而“不得”的意思。于是，发自内心的“惜”就表现为语言、行动上的“护”，虽然迫于暴力，没有达到目的，但由此却引出了暴卒的“自称”和“我”的悄声劝告。
结尾的四句诗，在当时很好懂；时过一千一百多年，就需要作些注解，才能了解其深刻的含义。所谓“神策军”，在天宝时期，本来是西部的地方军；后因“扈驾有功”，变成了皇帝的禁卫军。德宗时，开始设立左、右神策军护军中尉，由宦官担任。他们以皇帝的家奴掌握禁卫军，势焰熏天，把持朝政，打击正直的官吏，纵容部下酷虐百姓，什么坏事都干。元和初年，宪宗宠信宦官吐突承璀，让他做左神策军护军中尉；接着又派他兼任“诸军行营招讨处置使”（各路军统帅），白居易曾上书谏阻。这首诗中的“中尉”，就包括了吐突承璀。所谓“采造”，指专管采伐、建筑的官府；“采造家”，就是这个官府派出的人员。元和时期，经常调用神策军修筑宫殿；吐突承璀又于元和四年领功德使，修建安国寺，为宪宗树立功德碑。因此，就出现了“身属神策军”而兼充“采造家”的“暴卒”。做一个以吐突承璀为头子的神策军人，已经炙手可热了；又兼充“采造家”，执行为皇帝修建宫殿和树立功德碑的“任务”，自然就更加为所欲为，不可一世。
诗是采取画龙点睛的写法。先写暴卒肆意抢劫，目中无人，连身为左拾遗的官儿都不放在眼里，使人不能不产生这样的疑问：“这些家伙凭什么这样‘暴’？”但究竟凭什么，没有说。直写到主人因中庭的那棵心爱的奇树被砍而忍无可忍的时候，才让暴卒自己亮出他们的黑旗，“口称采造家，身属神策军”。一听见暴卒的自称，就把“我”吓坏了，连忙悄声劝告村老：“主人慎勿语，中尉正承恩！”讽刺的矛头透过暴卒，刺向暴卒的后台“中尉”；又透过中尉，刺向中尉的后台皇帝！
前面的那条“龙”，已经画得很逼真，再一“点睛”，全“龙”飞腾，把全诗的思想意义提到了惊人的高度。

【Review】 这首乐府体诗歌写于刘禹锡贬为连州（今广东连县）刺史期间。诗以俚歌形式记叙了农民插秧的场面以及农夫与计吏的一场对话。序文说希望中央派官吏来采集歌谣，明确表示他作诗的目的是讽谕朝政、匡正时阙。中唐新乐府诗虽然大都有意仿效乐府民歌通俗浅显的风格，但象《插田歌》这样富于民歌天然神韵的作品也并不多见。这首诗将乐府长于叙事和对话的特点与山歌俚曲流畅清新的风格相结合，融进诗人善于谐谑的幽默感，创造出别具一格的诗歌意境。
首六句用清淡的色彩和简洁的线条勾勒出插秧时节连州郊外的大好风光，在工整的构图上穿插进活泼的动态：冈头花草崭齐，燕子穿梭飞舞，田埂笔直如线，清水粼粼闪光。农妇穿着白麻布做的衣裙，农夫披着绿草编的蓑衣，白裙绿衣与绿苗白水的鲜明色彩分外调和。这几句笔墨虽淡，却渲染出南方水乡浓郁的春天气息。
“齐唱郢中歌”以下六句进一步通过听觉来描写农民劳动的情绪。在农夫们一片整齐的哼唱中时时穿插进一阵阵嘲嗤的大笑，忧郁的情调与活跃的气氛奇妙地融合在一起，因而歌声虽然哀怨，但并无沉闷之感。“但闻”、“不辨”、“此必”扣住诗人从郡楼下望的角度描写，虽然楼上人听不真歌词和嘲嗤的内容，却传神地表现了农民们朴野而又乐天的性格特征，绘出了富有特色的民风乡俗。“怨响音”是农民们在繁重劳动和艰难生活的重压下自然流出的痛苦呻吟，而“时时一大笑”则爆发出他们热爱生活、富于幽默感的旺盛活力。时怨时嘲的情绪变换，暗示了农民对现实的不满，这就与下文农夫对计吏的嘲讽取得了照应。
尤其高明的是，诗人没有描写劳动时间的推移过程，而仅用“水平苗漠漠”一句景物描写点明插秧已毕，使场景自然地从水田转移到村路。炊烟袅袅、鸡犬奔啄的四句景色点缀承上启下，展现了农民劳动归来时村落里宁静和平而微带骚动的气氛，同时引出计吏的登场，将全诗前后两部分对比的内容天衣无缝地接合成一个完整的场面。计吏乌帽长衫的打扮出现在这青田白水的背景上，在农妇田夫白裙绿衣的衬托下，不但显示出计吏与农夫身份地位的差别，而且使人联想到它好象一个小小的黑点玷污了这美好的田野，正如他的庸俗污染了田间辛勤劳动的纯朴气氛一样。计吏的自我介绍引出田夫与他的对话，着一“自”字，巧妙地表现了计吏急于自炫身份的心理。
田夫对计吏的应酬颇含深意。“君家侬定谙”，说明田夫知道计吏本来也是出身于附近乡村的。“一来长安道，眼大不相参”，讽刺计吏一旦当上官差，去过一趟长安，便与乡邻不是一路人了。话虽是对“这一个”计吏而发，却也概括了封建社会世态炎凉的普遍现象，揭示了官贵民贱的社会关系的本质。计吏没有听出田夫话里的讽刺意味，反而“笑”着致辞，借机大肆吹牛。这一“笑”正显出他的愚蠢。“长安真大处，省门高轲峨，侬入无度数”，活画出尚未脱掉土气的计吏鄙俗可笑的神情和虚荣浅薄的性格。“昨来补卫士，唯用筒竹布”是全诗讽刺的重点。既然计吏的姓名补入朝廷禁军的缺额，只须拿出些筒竹布便贿赂得来，那么官职当然也可随意买卖了。“君看二三年，我作官人去”，这种推测既是计吏的自夸，也道出了诗人的忧虑。但让这话出自一个小小的计吏之口，则收到比诗人直接议论更强烈的效果。连计吏都觉得官价便宜，更可见出皇家卫士名额之贱，朝廷卖官鬻爵之滥。全诗写到计吏得意忘形地预卜自己将会高升的前途时便戛然而止。听了这一席话田夫的反应如何，则让读者自己去想象，这就留下了无穷的余味。这一段对话全用口语，寥寥数言，朴素无华，却传神地表现出农夫与计吏这两个不同身份的人物不同的心理状态和性格特征，体现了诗人通俗活泼而又具有高度概括力的语言特色。
这首诗继承汉乐府缘事而发的优秀传统，以俚歌民谣揭露重大的社会问题，在诙谐嘲嗤中寄寓严肃的政治意义，以平凡真实的生活显示深刻的主题思想，从艺术结构、叙事方式、细节描写到人物对话都深得汉乐府民歌的真髓，但又表现出诗人明快简洁幽默的独特风格，因而以高度的思想艺术价值为中唐新乐府运动增添了光彩。

将军的猎骑，飞驰在渭城的晴郊。
已枯的野草，遮不住尖锐敏捷的鹰眼，积雪溶化了，飞驰的马蹄更象是风追叶飘。
转眼间，猎骑穿过了新丰市，驻马时，细柳营已经来到。
回头看，那射落大雕的地方，千里无垠的大地啊，暮云笼罩着原野静悄悄。

【Review】 诗题一作《猎骑》。从诗篇遒劲有力的风格看，当是王维前期作品。诗的内容不过是一次普通的狩猎活动，却写得激情洋溢，豪兴遄飞。至于其艺术手法，几令清人沈德潜叹为观止：“章法、句法、字法俱臻绝顶。盛唐诗中亦不多见。”（《唐诗别裁》）
诗开篇就是“风劲角弓鸣”，未及写人，先全力写其影响：风呼，弦鸣。风声与角弓（用角装饰的硬弓）声彼此相应：风之劲由弦的震响听出；弦鸣声则因风而益振。“角弓鸣”三字已带出“猎”意，能使人去想象那“马作的卢飞快，弓如霹雳弦惊”的射猎场面。劲风中射猎，该具备何等手眼！这又唤起读者对猎手的悬念。待声势俱足，才推出射猎主角来：“将军猎渭城”。将军的出现，恰合读者的期待。这发端的一笔，胜人处全在突兀，能先声夺人，“如高山坠石，不知其来，令人惊绝”（方东树）。两句“若倒转便是凡笔”（沈德潜）。
渭城为秦时咸阳故城，在长安西北，渭水北岸，其时平原草枯，积雪已消，冬末的萧条中略带一丝儿春意。“草枯”“雪尽”四字如素描一般简洁、形象，颇具画意。“鹰眼”因“草枯”而特别锐利，“马蹄”因“雪尽”而绝无滞碍，颔联体物极为精细。三句不言鹰眼“锐”而言眼“疾”，意味猎物很快被发现，紧接以“马蹄轻”三字则见猎骑迅速追踪而至。“疾”“轻”下字俱妙。两句使人联想到鲍照写猎名句：“兽肥春草短，飞鞚越平陆”，但这里发现猎物进而追击的意思是明写在纸上的，而王维却将同一层意思隐然句下，使人寻想，便觉诗味隽永。三四句初读似各表一意，对仗铢两悉称；细绎方觉意脉相承，实属“流水对”。如此精妙的对句，实不多见。
以上写出猎，只就“角弓鸣”、“鹰眼疾”、“马蹄轻”三个细节点染，不写猎获的场面。一则由于猎获之意见于言外；二则射猎之乐趣，远非实际功利所可计量，只就猎骑英姿与影响写来自佳。
颈联紧接“马蹄轻”而来，意思却转折到罢猎还归。虽转折而与上文意脉不断，自然流走。“新丰市”故址在今陕西临潼县，“细柳营”在今陕西长安县，两地相隔七十余里。此二地名俱见《汉书》，诗人兴会所至，一时汇集，典雅有味，原不必指实。言“忽过”，言“还归”，则见返营驰骋之疾速，真有瞬息“千里”之感。“细柳营”本是汉代周亚夫屯军之地，用来就多一重意味，似谓诗中狩猎的主人公亦具名将之风度，与其前面射猎时意气风发、飒爽英姿，形象正相吻合。这两句连上两句，既生动描写了猎骑情景，又真切表现了主人公的轻快感觉和喜悦心情。
写到猎归，诗意本尽。尾联却更以写景作结，但它所写非营地景色，而是遥遥“回看”向来行猎处之远景，已是“千里暮云平”。此景遥接篇首。首尾不但彼此呼应，而且适成对照：当初是风起云涌，与出猎紧张气氛相应；此时是风定云平，与猎归后踌躇容与的心境相称。写景俱是表情，于景的变化中见情的消长，堪称妙笔。七句语有出典，《北史·斛律光传》载北齐斛律光校猎时，于云表见一大鸟，射中其颈，形如车轮，旋转而下，乃是一雕，因被人称为“射雕手”。此言“射雕处”，有暗示将军的膂力强、箭法高之意。诗的这一结尾遥曳生姿，饶有余味。
综观全诗，半写出猎，半写猎归，起得突兀，结得意远，中两联一气流走，承转自如，有格律束缚不住的气势，又能首尾回环映带，体合五律，这是章法之妙。诗中藏三地名而使人不觉，用典浑化无迹，写景俱能传情，至如三四句既穷极物理又意见于言外，这是句法之妙。“枯”、“尽”、“疾”、“轻”、“忽过”、“还归”，遣词用字准确锤炼，咸能照应，这是字法之妙。所有这些手法，又都妙能表达诗中人生气远出的意态与豪情。所以，此诗完全当得起盛唐佳作的称誉。

【Notes】 贾雨村考中进士，新任知府，路见当年甄家丫鬟娇杏，讨来作了二房。娇杏一年后生了儿子；再半年，雨村嫡妻病故，她就被扶作正室夫人。作者用这两句话来赞她“命运两济”。
1.一着——原指下一步棋，如俗语所谓“一着不慎，满盘皆输”。这里是借以说人的一种行动。娇杏偶然因好奇，回头看了贾雨村两眼，这从封建礼教不准女子私顾外人的眼光看是越轨的行动，所以说“错”。然而，现在反因为这“一着错”而使她成为“人上人”了。“一着错”，程高本作“一回顾”，乃后人所篡改，二字之差，把原来对封建礼教的虚伪性的讽刺，改成了对这种丫头当上官太太的命运的称羡。
【Review】 娇杏者，侥幸也。脂砚斋批语中所指出的许多人名、地名的谐音义是可的，它确是隐寓着作者写某人、某事的意图，非后来一些“红学家”的牵强附会可比。甄士隐与贾雨村的荣枯先后互相易位，英莲（后来的香菱）与娇杏的命运也形成鲜明对照：一个原是主，沦为婢；一个原是婢，升为主。更有意思的是：倒霉的与交运的都并不体现什么“福善祸淫”的“天理”，不然为什么能济人之困的善人反得到如此悲惨下场呢？再说，礼教教人“非礼勿视”，礼所规定不该看的，看了就算错。娇杏错了还不打紧，又使被看的人错以为她是“心中有意于他”。她只不过是想：此人定是“什么贾雨村了”，过后“也就丢过不在心上”，可是雨村却错把她当作是什么“巨眼英豪，风尘中之知己”，这岂非错上加错？然而，她偏偏因错而得荣耀富贵，这还不侥幸吗？对于这种现象，作者不能解释，只好归之于命运。但他并不是冷漠的、超脱的，对于这个命运不公的颠倒世界，他有强烈的愤激情绪，这就使他心中不时地涌出尖刻的讽刺语言，并且形之于笔下。这一点，我们从这两句巧妙的俗语集句中是不难体会到的。
