两个富翁，闲的无聊，打赌取乐。
甲对乙说：“你若把地上的一滩狗屎吃了，我给你100万。”100万！不是个小数目，乙真的就把狗屎吃了，得到了100万。稍后，乙觉得恶心难忍，心说：我又不缺钱，何苦遭这份儿罪，分明是甲在捉弄我。于是，他强作笑颜对甲说：“你若把另一滩狗屎吃了，我也给你100万。”甲正在为转瞬失去的100万而心疼呢，现听乙这么一说，机会来了，也同样吃了一滩狗屎，把100万又挣了回去。
又过了一会儿，乙似乎悟出点什么，对甲说：“你我什么也没得到，却无端每人吃了一滩屎。”甲听后沉吟半晌，说：“不然。国家的GDP由此而增加了200万。”
