愛 have spent lots of time
to make time stop

finding a 2nd home in a vacation
while my first home is vacant

country pumpkin, with thick skin under the sun
deaf to the howling of passing 18-wheelers
and
there's a hitchhiker going against the traffic
like a salmon in a river, willing its way

the airplane is getting heavier each year
yesterday seems ahead of me before landing
now my heart is sinking
