crunchy bite. Thanks for the youtube—

for freshening our memory of friends.

Thanks for the radio programs for advice—
when the big bird is still half frozen—
when the crust is off the pumpkin pie

and how to cook a turkey of Chinese style.
Thanks for the oven, the roasting pans, the masher,
the tongs and forks neglected with dust

Thanks for coming home, girls—
for sitting at the table, the aroma hover
over our smiles—the gentle snow—tonight.
