昨天是方女士38岁的生日，但今年的生日，她心头别有滋味。近一个月来，她一直在网上相亲，想找位美国男友，却屡遭拒绝。追问之下，才发现是生日不凑巧——9月11日。　　方女士原是一位空姐，住武昌，姐姐和母亲已定居美国华盛顿，她也想找位美国男友，以方便与家人团聚。 8月17日，她委托位于汉口车站路的一家翻译公司，帮她向国外交友网站发送资料。　　不料，一连投了40份资料，全被拒绝回来，方女士百思不得其解。　　翻译公司也觉得不对劲，于9月初一再询问多位网友，才得知被拒原因竟是她的生日作怪。“美国人对911特别敏感，对这个生日很忌讳。无奈之下，只好将生日换成农历的8月25日，重新投递资料。” 　　昨日，在翻译公司，方女士告诉记者，更改资料后，境遇陡然逆转，已有数位美国男士向她表白。
