美国诗友维尔妲·莫雷思(Wilda Morris)是前任伊利诺州诗人协会会长,在芝加哥的诗坛上相当活跃。最近她开辟了一个叫《诗挑战》的英文网页http://wildamorris.blogspot.com/
每月初由她出题邀读者竞写,在月半前收齐后,由她及她邀请的诗人从中挑选出一两首优异的作品张贴,供人欣赏。十一月的诗题是“时装附件”（帽子、手提包、领带、皮带、皮鞋、围巾、首饰等等）,用了我的Necktie(领带)作为引诗:
NECKTIE
Before the mirror
he carefully makes himself
a tight knot
to let the hairy hand
of civilization
drag him
on

This is very characteristic of you, Mr Fei Ma, that you write abut something ordinary into something extraordinary. I would suggest you submit some of your poems to American Life in Poetry, a project by Ted Kooser.

Thanks, Lake! Talking about Ted Kooser, I recently received a translation award from 《诗潮》（沈阳）with my translation of some of his poems.

最近一年写了许多三行微型诗，想学先生的“构思奇特、立意深远、写小成大、语凡味浓”等优点，当然不是盲目模仿，而是自出新裁。我挂两首求教。
