Not gold, but only man and woman
Can make a people great and strong.
China, I am listening to your anthem.
Can you hear my songs?

My songs are buried deep and long
when snowstorms stepped before the Spring Festival
when quakes indulged in wanton massacre
when the Phoenix crazily passed along.

My songs can not be composed.
They reveal directly from my heart and lungs.
The quality of reality with my songs
the One China Dream takes on.

Not gold, but only man and woman
Can make a people great and strong.
They build the nation’s pillars deep
Make the motherland flourishing and strong.
