Never have I thought, is it love or tenacity
that calls for so much tears
Never have I thought, is it fidelity or timidity
that forgiveness is so dear
Your expectation’s high or low,
your heart leaning left or right
I can never make my choices clear
O... to love you all over again, it calls for a few milleniums
but do you really love me dear?
Is it a matter of patience?
Right or wrong you’ve all the discretion
you’re gentle yet having a quick temperament
Awaiting deliverance? Repeating the past in today
and tomorrow will replay the present
You possess the purest fragility, the most senseless pride
yet I have not changed one iota
O... for you I may never regret, I may teare
but do you really love me dear?
Year after year, you are as you were
I’ve followed your word of honour
But you are back to where you were
Year after year, I remained and did not veer
towards you, I bare my broken heart
Yet I display
a make-believe pride to all my peers

This poem is about romance, and Most-Of-All the sense of loss / cultural-breakdown amongst overseas Chinese when they deal with the Chinese culture.
