Auschwitz and Others
Tr. Lake
Before the memorial speech was made
The white flower
On the wire mesh
Suddenly changed its color
Since that time when voices
Were choked in the throat
Years have gone spotted with rust
That day, all the music sheets were scattered
Bloody notes dancing on the score
Soundless, but became thicker and heavier
Thicker and heavier
Brimming, about to drop
Like the countdown of a detonating device
Who, sitting on the peak of history, sneers?
Who is he?
The killed could not find his own tomb
Nor could the killer his own crime
As you bumped and chased each other
The earth was strangled tighter and tighter
By straps of black whirlwinds
