“第六届多伦多国际老人节” 诗歌散文比赛即将进入评选阶段由加拿大普通话华人联合会举办的“第六届多伦多国际老人节”诗歌散文比赛征稿活动结束在即，将于8月1日进入评委评选阶段。本次征稿活动得到旅加华裔老人的热烈相应。截至7月27日，共收到诗作100余首，其中以格律诗为主。由于不少作者投稿作品超过大赛所规定的5首，经过作者本人进一步筛选，最终有50余首正式参赛。作者年龄最长者达85岁，最年轻者为58岁，平均年龄71岁，其中2/3的作者超过70岁。加拿大普通话华人联合会已邀请加国著名华人诗人和平岛,秋叶,万沐,野航,白水（以上均为笔名）作为评委。北美华人文学社(CLSNA)对本次活动给予了全力支持，将在其著名网站北美枫上为本次活动之评选开辟专栏，所有参赛作品将被发布到该网站上，供评委通过评审软件进行评选。8月10日将产生最终评选结果，颁奖仪式将在于9月29日举行的“第六届多伦多国际老人节”上进行，部分获奖作品还将被排练成不同形式的诗朗诵节目，在“第六届多伦多国际老人节”演出。
