再看到的是不是同一條河
明淨的落地窗
陽光很亮
在哥倫比亞河岸的餐廳
我們相對坐著，托腮側望
玻璃反射出你的臉龐
玻璃後粼粼水波
我注視著河水緩緩流向遠處
當再拉回視線
以為我們的桌子正在漂移
我伸手去摸你的臉
以為有了新的皺紋
原來是河面細細的波紋
映在玻璃上
與臉重疊
你說河水必然流去
我說波光原處閃亮
我們坐著河水
河水坐著一個長長的桌子

河水，河岸，餐廳 ，桌子漂移
很有 Kay Ryan 的 《尼亚加拉河》那首诗的味道。
第三节，感人细腻。
The Niagara River
by Kay Ryan
As though
the river were
a floor, we position
our table and chairs
upon it, eat, and
have conversation.
As it moves along,
we notice—as
calmly as though
dining room paintings
were being replaced—
the changing scenes
along the shore. We
do know, we do
know this is the
Niagara River, but
it is hard to remember
what that means.

意思是當西方有像東方一樣多的人懂得中文
那時便能來看中文怎麼寫西方的事物
河水，河岸，餐廳 ，桌子
可能都是平常場景
象外之意自會有因文化不同而帶的影響
中國的河水母題其時間的隱喻因素很強.
現在人在西雅圖, 行旅即筆.
