中国游客成澳洲第四大旅游群体 中国需求受到关注




Snowpear雪梨网1月17日报道,中国游客正在按照日本游客的模式发展,成为澳大利亚旅游业的“强心剂”。

中国游客已经取代美国成为了澳大利亚第四大旅游群体。由于全球经济危机对澳旅游业的打击以及澳元持续高企,中国游客被认为澳大利亚旅游业的未来。所以不必为澳大利亚旅游业正密切关注中国游客的需求而感到惊讶。

澳大利亚旅游调查局(Tourism Research Australia)的一份研究显示,日本游客喜欢潜水,而中国游客则喜欢赌博。在2009年,有三分之一的中国游客前往赌场一试身手,而其他国家的游客仅有16%。此外,中国游客还喜欢有娱乐消遣的公园和海滩。


对于旅游业者来说,更好的消息是中国游客比日本游客留在澳大利亚的时间更长,花的钱也更多。2009年,中国游客平均为澳大利亚经济贡献7287澳元,而日本游客为3420澳元。中国游客平均留澳时间为53晚,而日本游客为22晚。

调查局预计,今年将有531,000中国人来澳,增幅达21.9%。而其中游客占了近一半,增幅达28.7%。
