　　苍溪县辖镇。清末属五龙乡。1935年置永宁乡，1958年改公社，1984年复置乡，1992年建镇。

　　位于县境西部，距县府43公里。面积52.3平方公里，人口1.6万。212国道纵贯境内。

　　辖桃花、笔山、天桥、兰池、平桥、金洞、荞子、金宝、铺子、柑子10个村委会。乡镇企业有制药厂、食品冷冻厂。农业主产水稻、小麦、玉米、油菜籽，特产雪梨。为县猕猴桃和肉牛生产基地。
