About the CLSNA

The Chinese Literature Society of North America (CLSNA) is a non-profit organization in registered in British Columbia, Canada. It was founded in 2005 by a groupd of Chinese poets, writers, critics and traslators from Canada, Mainland China and USA.

The CLSNA is aimed to manage the publication of the literary journal of "North American Maple", promote the culture exchange between Canada and China in the respect of literature, and build a literature bridge between the English and the Chinese poetry.

Currently, the society publishes the journal of North American Maple, a leading bilingual literary journal in both the languages of Chinese and English. It manages the beimeifeng website, which has more than one thousand online users. It is an independent, charitable body which derives its representative status from its members all over the world.

It is planning to organize an International Competition of Chinese Poetry. It might manage other type of international poetry Awards.
